“Ashlee Simpson is one ecstatic wife-to-be, and her diamond sparkler had her gushing to Ryan Seacrest on Thursday morning.
Calling into to his KIIS-FM radio show Thursday morning, the 23-year old singer giggled when Seacrest brought up her impressive ring from fiancé Pete Wentz, 28. ‘It is [huge]!’ Simpson said from her mother’s New York City hotel room, ‘I stare at it. I’m like, ‘Oh, my god, I can’t believe this is on [my] hand!”
Simpson was more coy about other details of their recent engagement to the Fall Out Boy bassist. ‘I’m keeping that part sacred,’ she said of Wentz’s actual proposal. ‘But I will tell you it was very thoughtful and he did a great job.’
Pushed on whether she was planning on drinking alcohol Thursday night, Simpson stayed mum on her pregnancy, playfully answering, ‘Who knows. Maybe.'”
